NEW YEAR'S EVE
"Pay What You Can"
PARTY FOR ALL AGES

Friday, December 30, 2011 - January 1, 2012

Come for the weekend or just for the day or just for the evening-it's your choice!
Choose to arrive when you want and leave when you want starting at 1 pm on Saturday
and ending at 11 am on Sunday. Let's ring in the New Year together!

This weekend includes chapel, worship, Big Party, great food, snow play (weather
permitting), hot dogs and s'mores over the campfire, and so much more!

P.S. The unveiling of our new Misfit Mini Golf Course is in the works to happen 
for the first time this weekend! It is currently being "engineered" by Josh "Optimist"
Miller and Crew, and "useless items" are being gathered to put together this indoor
course made entirely out of JUNK!

JR. HIGH WINTER CAMP

January 6-8, 2012

This camp is almost full! The theme (Abandoned to Jesus), speaker, worship, Big 
Party, outdoor and indoor activities are all thing you won't want to miss. Youth
 Leaders, just bring your students and we'll do the rest! Space is limited so contact

GRAND CAMP 2012

Give the Gift of Camp!

Grandparents, give yourself and your grandkids a gift to last a lifetime! This coming
summer Grand Camp has its own weekend so more Grandparents can enjoy making memories
with their young grandkids. Camp Jonah was the dream of Grandma "Bernice" Duke who
for years held "Cousin Camp" for her 24 grandchildren prior to founding Jonah Ministries.

Plan to bring your grandkids and we'll provide a relaxed program that will include
hiking, crafts, caving, games, zipline, climbing wall, chapel, worship, great food
and plenty of time to develop that cherished bond that only Grandparents and Grandkids
can share.  Play together. Pray together. Purpose to strengthen a relationship that
is like no other!

Dates: July 6-8, 2012
Ages: Planned for Grandkids ages 5- 12
Fee: $100 Grandparent / $85 Grandchild
Registration: Begins January 1st, but gift certificates can be purchased now-in 
time to give as Christmas gifts!

PRAYER & PRAISE

2 Chronicles 31:20-21 "This is what Hezekiah did throughout Judah, doing what was
good and right and faithful before the LORD his God. In everything that he undertook
in the service of God's temple and in obedience to the law and the commands, he 
sought his God and worked wholeheartedly. And so he prospered."

Would you read through these verses again and then pray for us here at Jonah? Please
pray that we will do what is good and right and faithful before the Lord. And pray
that in everything we do in service here, and in trying to live in obedience to 
our Savior, that we will seek God and work for Him wholeheartedly. Would you also
pray that God would prosper Camp Jonah? Thank you!

PRAISES:

1. Gym roof patch job is working!! We haven't had to add another part-time job of
emptying buckets and pans this winter!
2. We're grateful for several days in a row of gorgeous, sunny (quite cold) weather!
3. Even though these past few weeks are slower, and financially dismal with fewer
groups, we are enjoying a slower pace and more time with family!
4.Carmen "Chatty" (Miersma) Leslie has joined us part time in the office helping
 to fill some big gaps!

REQUESTS:
1.Winter finances
2. Successful New Year's Eve Retreat
3.Jr. High Winter Camp. Please pray for full attendance, challenging message and
 worship times, amazing fun, lots of snow, safety, decisions made to follow Jesus,
new friendships formed, etc.
4.Financial miracle so we can purchase the Taylor Property next door! (Soon?!)
5.Summer Camps. We need two directors, a full (fun, godly) staff, "bulging camps",
and God's blessings
6.Bus Barn Project. Pray for progress, provision, and plans.
