ROOF REPORT

roof update 1Jesus, the Carpenter, has been busy on our roof! Jesus planted a seed in the hearts of Jim & Anita Hudson, from Wichita, Kansas, to lead a Missions Team from their church, Westlink, to our little camp in Trout Lake, Washington. This group of 17 worked hard last week removing all the old layers of roofing and replacing it with new sheeting. Dirty, wonderful work. They are angels wielding wheelbarrows and hammers.

roof update 2God, the Weatherman, has brought cool weather and clouds, but not rain (contrary to the weather report). Not too many people working on a roof in mid-July get to enjoy cool weather, but ours was delivered in on the wings of many prayers. Our favorite Weatherman even spared us from a rainstorm two nights ago!

The old roof is now removed, the new sheeting is almost completed, the inspector has given her approval, and the roofing company laying the new single membrane roofing is scheduled to begin covering the roof today!

roof update 3God, our Provider, just keeps on keeping us on our toes. Special gifts from $27 given by a twelve-year-old to $3,000 sent by a businessman are helping us to fund this expensive, urgent project. In the next few days, we need $6,274 more to finishing paying the company laying the new roofing.

Thanks for praying for safety, for giving generously and for smiling with us that our main building will finally be leak-free. I think we'll have a party to celebrate throwing away our rain barrels in the upper hall. We already had dinner on the roof with the work party when their part of the project was done!

To God be the glory for all he's done, through all of you, to make this project happen!
