Summer Camp Descriptions
Extreme Adventure Course - White Water Rafting (ages 16-19): Join us for a few unforgettable days of intense adventure and technical skills training where you'll be challenged physically, emotionally, and spiritually like you never have before. The days will fly by as we focus exclusively on White Water Rafting. You'll learn guiding and rescue techniques and will be challenged spiritually to take your next step in your relationship with God.
Home Ec Camp (grades 6-12): Acts 9:36 tells us of a woman named Dorcas: "This woman was abounding with deeds of kindness and charity, which she continually did." Our goal this year at Home Ec camp is to bless others with kindness and charity as we learn various home-making skills. Adventures will include: sewing, cooking, craft projects, a slumber party, Miss Home Ec pagent, and many other fun activities. Join us for this exciting week as we all seek to become "This woman..."
Music/Drama Camp (grades 2-7): Buckle your seat belt! Music / Drama day campers are about to qualify for the Freedom 400! Clever and fun, this racing musical is about understanding that no one should cross the finish line without a saving faith in Jesus Christ. We will perform this energetic musical on Thursday night (a change from previous years). Don't miss this opportunity to be with other kids, play games, make fun crafts, get a free T-shirt and experience amazing Bible times. Let's "Race to Win"!
High School Missions Encounter (grades 9-12): An adventurous, high activity, high involvement, hands-on Missions experience in answer to the high demand to expand our current Missions Camp program. Churches are encouraged to send a leader along with a group of kids (five or more) from your youth group. Program by WorldVenture.
Kids Missions Camp (grades 4-8): Come join in the adventure that awaits campers as they are challenged in creative ways to expand their understanding of God's call to missions throughout the world. This year's theme is Tribal Missions. Remember: Kids CAN make a difference. Program by WorldVenture. Informational Flyer
Jr. Variety Camp (grades 4-6): "You are invited join Cpt. Buzz Lightyear and Lt. Neal Strongarm as we journey through the universe in our quest for truth. We'll waddle through caves, trudge through the backwoods, scream down zip-lines, chow scrumptious delectables, and triumph in glorious battles of "Who can get the wettest?" Buckle your seatbelts, because we're off in 3...2...1... "
High School Adventure Camp (grades 9-12), Jr. High Adventure Camp (grades 7-9): Continuing in the tradition of one of Jonah's most popular camps, the week of adventure camp will be jam-packed with tons of outdoor adventure activities. Rarely will you be able to find so much offered in such a small amount of time. From high ropes to caving to white water rafting to orienteering, you'll be challenged physically, mentally, and spiritually like you haven't been before.

- Each camp is staffed by counselors who love and live for God.
- All camps are for grades entering in the Fall 2008

- A non-refundable down payment of $50 will reserve your child's place in the desired camp
